I've always thought of writing a book, maybe a novelette, so here it is. The Prologue of my book. Stay tuned for updates to the story.

Her & I
The Prologue
We had been friends for a while, three years to be exact, but last year was the one -- the time of my life, the time of her life (probably), the time of our lives. It was unbelievable how similar we were, we both took the same classes, both had a relatively similar schedule, both did sports in the same seasons, both listened to the same type of music… the list could go on and on forever. We’ve been inseparable since then; we walk to every class together; we have similar friend groups; we text quite often, almost every night, if not about school then about the most random stuff, like how monkeys are better than koalas. I knew she was the one for me the day I met her last year. Now don’t get me wrong, she’s beautiful, but I’m not into her like that. It’s just that we have so much in common that I think that there ought to be a connection, the unbreakable kind, on a platonic level. I’m sure that she feels that same way, but up to what extent, I don’t know. She’s the type of person that you know is gonna stick around forever, be by your side no matter what. Her name is Sara.
